3 Day Red Centre Wonders

AAT Kings offers this 3 day Red Centre Wonders tour to Ayers Rock, which is an ideal way to explore the Northern Territory with freedom and flexibility. On this Ayers Rock tour, see sunset and sunrise over Uluru and join a guided walk into Mutitjulu Waterhole.

Your AAT Kings driver/guide will take you on a guided walk through The Olgas (Kata Tjuta) and a climb to the Kings Canyon Rim where you will marvel at the spectacular views.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Ayers Rock: On arrival at Ayers Rock Airport you will be transferred to your hotel (flights into Ayers Rock Airport prior to 1.00pm). This afternoon join your Driver/Guide for a tour of the base of Uluru and a guided walk into Mutitjulu Waterhole. Visit the Uluru Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. View sunset at Uluru whilst enjoying nibbles and a complimentary glass of wine.

Day 2 - Ayers Rock to Kings Canyon: This morning enjoy sunrise at Uluru (tea, coffee and biscuits included). Travel out to Kata Tjuta for a 2-3 hour guided walk through its spectacular domes (the walk is quite rocky and is for those with a good level of fitness). The trail leads to a lookout point with spectacular views deep into the Valley of the Winds. Your Driver/Guide will inform you about the flora and fauna of this region. This afternoon travel to Kings Canyon Resort.

Day 3 - Kings Canyon to Alice Springs: This morning join your guide for the rocky climb to the canyon rim for superb views of Watarrka National Park (for those with a good level of fitness, supportive footwear essential). Alternatively, explore the canyon floor (an easier, shady walk). Travel to Alice Springs arriving early evening.
