1 Day Palm Valley Tour

Join Alice Springs Holidays for a day of outback adventure. First head west from Alice Springs through Owen Springs cattle station before heading off the highway to explore the Finke Gorge National Park. The tour takes a 4WD along the bed of the Finke River - learn and observe the dramatic evidence of the areas flood history. The Palm Valley tours takes you further along the track to the magnificent amphitheatre provides a fantastic opportunity to take photographs before finally reaching Palm Valley itself.
At Palm Valley experience a walk amongst the Red Cabbage Palms which are left as relics from a lush climate many millions of years ago. A gourmet lunch is provided by Alice Springs Holidays, then travel back along the river bed to visit the Hermannsburg Historic Precinct founded by Lutheran missionaries in 1877 before returning in the late afternoon to Alice Springs.
