Aboriginal Uluru Tour & Breakfast
This Aboriginal Uluru Tour and Breakfast is one of the most popular Ayers Rock tours. Anangu Tours will pick up from your Ayers Rock accommodation, view sunrise and join a short Ayers Rock base tour (time permitting). Enjoy a restaurant breakfast overlooking Uluru and the Liru Walk with an Aboriginal guide. Join your Aboriginal guide for the famous Liru Walk to retrace the path of the Liru Ancestors through the bushland near Uluru. On this Ayers Rock tour, see demonstrations of ancient bush skills such as making kiti (bush glue), see how fire was made, how wooden tools were carved using only a sharpened stone, and learn how to hold and throw a spear.
Anangu guides tell creation stories thousands of generations old, and demonstrate bush survival skills that were taught to them by their grandparents. All guides have grown up in Central Australia and have an intricate understanding of the environment, flora, fauna and desert survival. All tours are conducted in the guide's own traditional language, with interpretation into English provided by our experienced interpreters. The cultural walks can be up to 2 kilometres in length and provide opportunities for asking questions.
