Kuniya Sunset Tour
The Kuniya Sunset Tour provides a special introduction to the spirit and culture of Ayers Rock (Uluru). This Ayers Rock tour is operated by Anangu Tours and commences at Ayers Rock Resorts. After being picked up at your hotel, spend time in the Uluru Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre before joining your Aboriginal guide for the spectacular and fascinating Kuniya Walk at the base of Ayers Rock.
With your Aboriginal guide, visit caves at the base of Uluru where the ancestors left paintings in time worn ochres. See the beautiful Mutitjulu Waterhole, whose life-giving waters have been drunk by generations of Aboriginal people. Anangu guides tell stories thousands of generations old, and demonstrate bush survival skills that were taught to them by their grandparents. All guides have grown up in Central Australia and have an intricate understanding of the environment, flora, fauna and desert survival. All Anangu Ayers Rock tours are conducted in the guide's own traditional language, with interpretation into English provided by our experienced interpreters.
Watching the colours of Uluru changing at sunset, whilst sipping a glass of sparkling wine and enjoying some nibbles, is the perfect end to this fascinating experience.
