Itinerary
Day 1 Darwin - Kakadu: After pick up from your accommodation, you'll meet your Safaris guide and head south towards Kakadu National Park. The first adventure is a crocodile spotting cruise. After lunch head for Ubirr Rock where you'll see classic examples of Aboriginal rock art and spectacular 360 degree views straight out of Crocodile Dundee! Tonight camp in the established camp site under the stars.
Day 2 Kakadu - Katherine: After breakfast head out to explore the National Park with an opportunity to swim in cool clear water, walk and explore spectacular sandstone country. After lunch travel south out of the park into the historic mining area of Pine Creek. On the way, stop in at Edith Falls for a refreshing swim. Finish the day by travelling to the campsite at the historic Springvale Homestead.
Day 3 Katherine - Mt Bundy Station: After an early start travel to the majestic Katherine Gorge for a choice of a two hour cruise or a canoeing adventure up the Gorge. The waters are clear, cool and safe for swimming. After lunch travel back up towards Darwin and continue on to the campsite at Mt Bundy Station, on the bank of the Adelaide River, which was once the largest cattle station in the Territory.
Day 4 Mt Bundy Station - Darwin: After breakfast, depart for Litchfield National Park. Litchfield is famous for its scenic beauty, waterfalls and safe swimming. Visit Florence Falls, Wangi Falls and Buley Rockholes and walk through beautiful rainforests. On the way back to Darwin, visit the township of Batchelor and return to Darwin approximately 6.30pm.
