1 Day Kakadu Tour

This 1 day Kakadu tour travels in a small group size and follows the Stuart and Arnhem Highways. Pass the Marrakai Plains, Adelaide, Mary and Wildman River areas into Kakadu National Park.

Cross the South Alligator River and explore the World Heritage area of Ubirr Rock where you will climb up though the ancient Aboriginal Rock Art Galleries to the lookout, and enjoy the famous view over surrounding wetlands.

Visit the Bowali Visitor Centre with informative displays, then continue to Cooinda to join Kakadu's fabled Yellow Waters Wetland Cruise, experience the beauty of the Kakadu wetlands and its inhabitants. Late afternoon, the tour makes its way out of Kakadu National Park, viewing Jabiru Township and pausing for an evening snack (own expense) at the Bark Hut Inn.

This 1 day tour is an excellent way to experience Kakadu, as the itinerary has been designed to allow sufficient time to fully appreciate the attractions visited, on your next Northern Territory holiday.

Times

Departs: Daily from Darwin hotel. Pick ups start at 6.30am

What to Bring: Small bag, sunscreen, hat, camera, comfortable non-slip walking shoes, water bottle. Dinner is at own expense
Children: Child rates apply for children 14 years and under
Please Note: This tour is suitable for all ages, however a reasonable level of fitness is recommended. All travellers should be encouraged to have adequate travel insurance. In the event seasonal conditions prevent access to Ubirr Rock the group will visit other attractions such as Nanguluwur or Nourlangie Rock. Between November and April this tour may not operate in a small group format
