Morning Territory Wildlife Park Tour
The world class 'multi award winning' Territory Wildlife Park is set in 400 hectares of natural bushland and home for the largest collection of Territory Wildlife. The wildlife park is approximately 45 minute drive from Darwin. Visitors have four hours to discover some of the Northern Territory's most elusive animals in the Nocturnal House and observe wildlife at close range, in their natural habitat. Enjoy spectacular views of barramundi and other fish from the underwater, walk-through aquarium. Take the elevated Monsoon forest walk and see the exciting 'Birds of Prey' display.
Itinerary Options
Cruise and City Sights Option: Add this option for a full day tour. Return back to Darwin aboard the vessel "Snubfin" for an exhilarating 1 and a half hour boat ride. Along the Blackmore River you will take in the history, habitat and intrigue of the Top end mangrove environment. See a crocodile trap, try your luck with a mud crab pot and visit Stokes Hill Wharf where you will visit the site of historic leprosaria and the watery grave of Darwin Harbour's oldest known shipwreck. Top the remainder of the day on a city sights tour with expert commentary by a local guide. See the Chinese Temple and lush Botanic Gardens. Tour the historic sites of the city including the East Point Military Precinct. See the wharf area and the mooring basin. There is also time to explore the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory.
