Full Day Arnhem Land
This Arnhem Land (Aboriginal Lands) Tour departs from Darwin and Jabiru. No trip to the 'Top End' is complete without a visit to Arnhem Land. Arnhem Land was given over to the Aboriginal people over 50 years ago by the Australian government. Today it is home to mostly Aboriginal people, and is perhaps the one area in Australia where indigenous culture is still dominant. Lord's are privileged to be one of only a handful of companies to be granted access to this area by the Traditional Owners. Lords Safaris have exclusive access to the heart of Minkinj Valley. Lords are also the only local company with access to the renowned sites of Injalak Hill. See the rock art through the eyes of your local Aboriginal guide on the hill walk. Visit the Injalak art centre and see the traditional artists at work. A photographers dream with billabongs, wildlife, rock art and the awe inspiring "stone country". This is special country with access limited to the privileged few. This Arnhem Land tour involves walking over uneven surfaces and sandy rocks so a level of agility is required to enjoy and make the most of the tour. Suitable for active people of all ages.
