Experience hot air ballooning with your choice of either a half hour or hour scenic flight as the dawn breaks over the MacDonnell Ranges. Your scenic flight starts with pre-dawn pick up, then be there as the crew start to inflate you balloon as you watch the sun light up the rugged MacDonnell Ranges.

Your scenic hot air balloon flight is a great way to see the spectacular Australian Outback. Drift over the rugged landscape and appreciate its immensity. You will most likely see the big red Kangaroos in their natural habitat amongst the spinifex grasses and mulga scrub and cattle stations. All Outback Ballooning flights are followed by a freshly cooked, four course chicken breakfast with sparkling wine. This is served at a lovely spot alongside the Todd River in Alice Springs. Transfers back to you hotel in Alice Springs are included.

Additional Information

Children: Children must be 6 years old or stand 1.4 metres tall. Child rates apply for 6-14 years of age. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Block out Dates: Tour not operate on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Years Day.
Insurance Fee: Due to the imposition of mandatory flight insurance by the Australian Government under the Air Carrier's Liability Act, a separate fee is payable to cover insurance. The fee is approximately $25.00 per passenger, payable by cash or credit card on the morning of the flight.
What to wear: Due to the sometimes dusty conditions, it is advisable not to wear light coloured clothing. Long pants, sturdy shotes and a hat are recommended. ou will be no colder in the balloon than on the ground. It can be chilly before the sun rises in winter as the temperature has been known to drop below 0 degrees Celsius.
